It feels good to be back. I’d like to thank Emily for her patience and persistence in keeping this bus moving. At about this time last week, I decided to purchase our official (and my first) domain. We decided to pass on SparklyAPPENDAGE.com and I felt obligated to jazz up our site a little bit. I’ve dubbed myself “Igor” - the band’s crazy webmaster and i use “webmaster” extremely loosely. The site still requires some tidying-up, but I hope the loyal visitors deem it a presentable improvement. *My apologies to Internet Explorer users - the site will be relatively bare-bones and while some may enjoy that more, the real issue at hand is your allegiance to that foolish browser, haha* I won’t take full credit for the design as I’ve brainstormed with Emily in scenarios that prompted inappropriate WWII references. We’ve literally explored the galaxy for site inspiration. If you’re savvy enough, you can find our scrapped design hosted on blogspot and have a laugh. We intend to keep the twin heads though.
I’m being wordy, but I’ve got so much to relay. Back to the music…
We’ve compiled the 10 tracks we want to release. We’re scrutinizing each one with kindness and enthusiasm. Our catalog is larger than we realized and even now, Emily still surfaces vocal takes i’ve never heard. I still have to prepare the 10 tracks for iTunes and Amazon mp3. Luckily, mastering tracks involves nil CSS/XHTML.
Keep in mind, this project progresses ‘cause it’s simply so much fun. No song on the album was recorded while we were within a 200 mile radius. It’s been a mutual creative outlet that we’ll be thrilled to share with you. I love the idea of being able to say, “we’ve had our album drop.” Thanks to the dear ones who have given their valuable support and taken interest. We’ve enabled a commenting system and we’d love to hear from you. There’s more music to come.
Checks mark the spots.
